So Genie Bouchard and Leylah Fernandez are off to play smaller tournaments this week – Fernandez as a wild card and No. 1 seed at an ITF in Madrid –,and the rest of the merry-go-round continues with just one week until the Roland Garros qualifying.
And school must be out – there are ton of unfamiliar names all over the ITF circuit.

It’s not a rumour. As I’ve been telling people on Twitter for awhile now, his plan was to come back for the grass.
But he’s planned to come back before. And his body said no.
This time he’s actually officially entered in a tournament at the start of the grass season.
But he told me yesterday that he’s not 100% sure he’ll be ready in time for that one.
