ROME – Rain interrupted three men’s third-round matches Monday, and in the end they never got back on court.

So it was a very busy day for some of the players Tuesday, because the winners have to come back and play their round of 16 matches later in the day.

It was a bonus for the fans – especially if you have a Grand Stand ticket.

But that’s about all that can be said for it.

Tsitsipas finally beat Musetti at 1:44 a.m. – not helped by the longest women’s match of the year between Haddad Maia and Kalinina. 🙂
