For Belinda Bencic, who upset No. 1 seed Elena Rybakina in the semis on Friday and who was on a wild card, it’s a quick return to the top echelons of the game after her maternity leave. And an impressive win.

In Mumbai at the WTA 125, Canadian Rebecca Marino was looking for the finals. She had some points to defend so she needed to make the final to defend them. She didn’t have the best day against a qualifier.
