Elsewhere the drop down to a lower level, while full of bumps, has ended up with Naomi Osaka getting to the weekend at the WTA 125 in Saint-Malo, France.

She escaped some situations, and she’s by far the most accomplished player left at the semifinal stage, with two unseeded players and No. 7 Viktorija Golubic of Switzerland.
