And the youngest, Victoria Mboko, got the spotlight in a centre court night session match against No. 4 seed Coco Gauff. She took a lead as Gauff imploded a bit to start. But in the end it was the American who took care of business.

Leylah Fernandez and Bianca Andreescu were on Court 1, back to back. And both took care of business.

Andreescu’s win over No. 20 seede Donna Vekic was notably good.
