And as the last Canadian now standing in the Roland Garros qualifying, she’s carrying the flag.
She faced Kathinka Von Deichmann, and got through pretty routinely
She’ll play Kaja Juvan of Slovenia, who is coming back from a long injury break and is getting close to her best self again.
Nao Hibino, Nina Stojanovic and Tamara Korpatsch are the first three through to the main draw – all of them veterans who have had better days but are looking to get back there.
And two of them beat Canadians along the way.
