MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

ATP Tour – Friday, May 23, 2025 final results

Andrey Rublev vs Félix Auger-Aliassime should be the highlight in Hamburg, and you’d expect the winner to take the title even though the other two semifinalists are quality. But in a battle of sometimes-wonky backhands – where Rublev has improved his over the years and FAA, not so much – Rublev won.

In Geneva, Novak Djokovic got some kind of tetchy on his 38th birthday, but he got past Matteo Arnaldi and on Friday, he got past a very game Cameron Norrie and into the final. Looking for that 100th title.

(Geneva and Hamburg are six hours ahead of EDT).
