ROLAND GARROS – As the second week of the tournament begins – even though ti’s a Sunday, all eight players in this top half of the draw are seeds on the women’s side.

And they’re the expected seeds, too, with the exception of No. 19 Ekaterina Alexandrova.

On the men’s side, everyone got through except those in the sections with No. 25 seed Alexei Popyrin (who came through Casper Ruud’s section) and unseeded Daniel Altmaier (Fritz’s section).

We like them all – especially Swiatek v Rybakina, and Alcaraz vs. Shelton. Both of which delivered.
