Both also are playing rather unexpected opponent. Instead of (on paper) Tommy Paul and Jakub Mensic, they end up with lucky loser Luca Nardi and ageless qualifier Adrian Mannarino.
Félix Auger-Aliassime also has an unexpected but welcome opponent in Benjamin Bonzi. It could have been Tsitsipas. Although Tsitsipas isn’t beating a drum these days.
