New mom Minella already back

Mandy Minella’s baby girl Emma Lina was born Oct. 30.

And the 32-year-old from Luxembourg already is back out on the pro circuit.

Minella, who played Wimbledon last July when she was 5 1/2-months pregnant, returned two weeks ago at a $25,000 event in Grenoble, France.

She lost in the first round, but made it to the quarterfinals of a similar event in Altenkirchen, Germany last week. 

Minella’s tennis is the family business. She’s married to coach Tim Sommer, and the family will be on the road much like recent moms Kateryna Bondarenko, Evgeniya Rodina and Tatjana Maria.
