Russian Teymuraz Gabashvili was ranked No. 43 in the world just two years ago.
A year ago, he was playing qualifying in Indian Wells and Miami.
Right now, he’s playing … $15,000 Futures events in Egypt.
The 32-year-old currently is ranked No. 331.
It’s not because Gabashvili has missed time because of injury. In fact, he’s been playing almost every week.
In the last 12 months, he’s played 32 tournaments. But he earned points in only seven of them.
And of his 140 points, 48 are from a Challenger in early May he’ll need to defend, or fall out of the top 400.
