Re-elected prez Djokovic chats with Fed

Word on Monday was that Novak Djokovic was re-elected as Player Council president, while Kevin Anderson was re-elected as vice-president.

Among others, Canadian Vasek Pospisil had thrown his hat into the ring, with his strong statements gaining him votes among some players, but perhaps costing him with the Tour establishment.

Djokovic and past president Roger Federer dialogued often during last month’s Laver Cup. And this weekend in Shanghai they gabbed like old pals again.

Federer said last month that he planned to chat with both Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, get more involved the myriad issues the Tour faces.
