Despite US Open crown and clay cred, Thiem still not the favorite in Paris

As Dominic Thiem fell to the ground behind the baseline on Arthur Ashe Stadium Sunday, Paris was already on the horizon.

In two weeks, the player who reached the French Open final the last two years will return, his first Grand Slam trophy socked away somewhere safe.

And yet, Thiem is still not the favorite, or the second favorite, in the early line for the 2020 French Open.

Who is? One guess.
