Neither Jack Sock nor Nick Kyrgios has been on the ATP Tour much in the last year and a half, for different reasons.
But the American-Aussie duo is getting the band back together at this week’s ATP Tour event in Atlanta.
They play doubles Monday night, against the No. 3 seeded Aisam Qureshi and Divij Sharan.
It could be … a little irreverent.
Fun times at the 2015 Rogers Cup
The two have plenty of history, going back nearly six years to the Rogers Cup in Montreal.
It’s absolutely insane how time flies. Kyrgios was a mere lad of 20. Sock was 22. A lot of water under the bridge since then.
Here’s how they looked in Montreal, with a really big crowd of people enjoying every single minute of their time on court.
(They managed to get a little bit of work done, too. Emphasis on “little).
Watching their every move were a couple of kids from Tennis Canada’s national program – including a 14-year-old named … Félix Auger-Aliassime.

Auger-Aliassime is the same age now as Kyrgios was then. And he’s somewhat less bedazzled by his act (to say the least!)
That was the Rogers Cup, of course, that included the on-court contretemps between Nick Kyrgios and Stan Wawrinka.
It happened just three days later. Sorry to tell you that, mate.
Sock and Kyrgios also teamed up at Laver Cup, against Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Should be a good time later tonight.
