FLUSHING MEADOWS, New York – Big Canadian day in Queens as Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe went for their second career US Open women’s doubles title. And were impressive in victory over the top team in the world.
And later, Félix Auger-Aliassime vies for his first career Grand Slam final, with world No. 1 Jannik Sinner on the other side of the net.
And, oh yeah, Alcaraz v Djokovic.
In the end, going against the grain of expectations, FAA v Sinner was the much better match. But as much of a blinder as Auger-Aliassime played, it still wasn’t enough agianst the world No. 1
(Queens, NY is on EDT)
