Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek, who both had their emotions overcome them in their WTA Finals debuts on Thursday, squared off to try to get in the win column on Saturday.

And with the help of the crowd, Sabalenka prevailed.

Canadian Sharon Fichman and partner Giuliana Olmos were looking for a win to stay alive. But after winning the first set 6-0 against Alexa Guarachi and Desiraw Krawczyk, they fell 11-9 in the match tiebreak.
