Early days on Saturday, the day looked like a total washout at the Charleston Open.

Not that this isn’t according to the pattern in most of the tennis cities this week.

After many hours of delays, they did manage to get one full match and (almost) the second in; but in the end the second semifinal was held over with Jessica Pegula three points away from a third set, and Belinda Bencic five points from the final.

There were long delays in Bogotá as well, but they managed to finish.
