The proverbial ink is barely try on the Sunshine Double, but the spring clay-court season is already under way in three venues.

Estoril, Houston and Marrakech.

All are ATP 250s with 28-player draws and byes for the top four seeds.

It’s a lot, considering a lot of players don’t want to start right up on the clay that early. But having one of them on the Texas red clay is an incentive for the Americans to kick the dirt of their shoes a little early.

(Houston is one hour behind EDT; Marrakech is four hours ahead, and Estoril is five hours ahead).
